What We Stand For

Welcome to Norwalk Christian Academy! We are an infant through 8th grade Christian school serving families in Norwalk and surrounding communities We employ exemplary educators and support staff who strive to meet the needs of every student. Norwalk Christian Academy is a non-denominational, customized infant through 8th grade, Christ-centered school that exists to disciple the next generation to know God, trust God, and obey God for the fame of His name. Our school is governed by a Board of Directors, supported by parents and best-practicing teachers. Three and Four year olds experience = learning through explorations and activities that help them begin the process of understanding school. Elementary students enjoy project-based learning, thematic units of study, and enrichment classes. We also have a before and after school child care program (Clubhouse), also available in the summer. We are securely housed in Fellowship Community Church and we want to be the first step in your child’s education.

Our Facilities

We Are Providing an Environment for Our Students to Grow & Excel

our history

where we have come from

In January 2013, Fellowship Church purchased the Stepping Stones Preschool which had been renting Fellowship’s facilities for several years. Stepping Stones had been started by two of Fellowship’s founding members, Lisa England and Kim Leichty, and had earned a noteworthy reputation in the Norwalk area of excellence in early childhood under their leadership.

One of the church’s priorities is to pursue the making of disciples among the next generation – birth through young adulthood. This priority, along with the recognition of these factors, was instrumental in God’s leading:

    1. A Christian School provides an educational option for families who desire a Christian education for their children.
    2. A Christian School serves as the “next step” to the existing Christian education options in our community.
    3. A Christian School provides an environment for the discipleship of the next generation.
    4. A Christian school provides increased opportunities for discipleship and development of the next generation as World Christians, that is, believers who understand God’s heart for the world and strategically live their lives in such a way that they are striving to see God glorified among all nations.

Our approach has been to add grades in response to the needs of the students God provides for us.

In the fall of 2019, we merged SSP and NCA to become all Norwalk Christian Academy.
